We think by loving those around us that we can protect them and care for them and even when our actions fail us, they know our intentions are good right?

They know we love them and we know we love them. However, we don’t have control and the control we think we have, is only an illusion. I should mention that trying to control it all was in my nature. That was before God taught me to let go of the control I thought I had.

It is the best feeling to realize that God cares for my family and friends more than me. They’re his children too! and he protects and saves me, the least obedient, the craziest, the meanest one, how is he going to look after me and neglect them?

He isn’t. He cares about what I care about and he can do a lot more about it than I can.
